hai sir/ madam ,i have completed my UG in botany and PG in computer science, is i am eligible for doing B.ed in computer science, if i do can i apply for TET exam, please reply as soon as possible, i am in confuse.

Eligibility required to take admission in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course is as follows :

1. You should be passed out in 10+2+3/Bachelor degree course from a recognized university.
2. You should have studied English and Hindi as a Compulsory paper in Graduation level.

Marks required is as follows :-

1. General Category - 50% in Graduation.
2. OBC Category - 45% in Graduation.
3. SC/ST Category - 43% in Graduation.
4. Physically Category - 40% in Graduation.

During B.Ed entrance exam questions will be from two sets.Set I will have questions from General Section and Set II will have questions from Honors Paper.

Details for Set I :- This set will include objective type questions and total number of questions will be 100.Each questions will be of 1 marks and total duration for Set I will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.Questions will be from -

1. Teacher's Aptitude Test.
2. English Language and Proficiency Test.
3. General Mental Ability Test.
4. General Awareness Test.

Details for Set II :- This set will contain Honors paper related questions.Each questions will be of 2 marks and total duration for Set II will be 1 honors and 30 minutes.Questions will be asked from any one subjects and these are -

• Physics.
• Chemistry.
• Mathematics.
• Botany.
• Zoology.
• Geography.
• History and Civics.
• Economics...etc

Dear friend,
B.ed course can be done only after graduation.
It is one year course.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY FOR APPLYING FOR B.ED ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

1.GRADUATION (B.SC, B.COM, BA) FROM RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY WITH AT LEAST 50% MARKS.

B.ED can be done regular or from distance education.

There are many university which offers B.ED.


You must first decide the university/institution from where you would like to do your B.ED.

Than fill the form for entrance exam, score well in the exam, get the seat in the college.

I had don B.ScIT from PTU with 60%.Can i give B.Ed exam?If not then tell me how can i make my carrer in teaching.

B.Ed can be done from regular as well as distance education colleges. For both of these you would need a graduation degree. If you opt for distance education then you must have a few years of prior teaching experience (as in the case of IGNOU). You will have to refer to the college prospectus for detailed information.
