Eligibility Criteria for Animation Course : -

Animation is a top level field of Multimedia and consider as a more creative and imaginative. There are more number of courses are available after facing 10+2 level examination

You can choose courses like 2D-Animation, 3D-Animation and puppet Animation etc. There are two types of ways to purse animation. There are so many jobs opportunities in Animation course are following as

1. Advance Diploma in 3D Animation

2. Advance Diploma in Game Art

3. Bachelor of Art in Digital Media

4. Diploma in Animation Arts

5. Diploma in Fusion Animation

6. Diploma in VFX and Animation

To become an animator, you need to have intensive training in 2D and 3D animation.

Professional animation and multimedia courses are available for higher study.

For becoming an artist in animation you need not require any qualification.

All you need to have is the following skills:-

1. Passion.

2. Sketching skills.

3. Interest.

4. Deep Involvement.

5. Drawing Skills.

6. Need to have a Creative Bent of Mind.

7. The basic requirement is that you must hav excellent creative and artistic abilities such as flair for drawing, sketching or caricaturing.

The basic eligibility for getting in to animation course would be the following:-

1. The eligibility for a course in animation is a 10+2 degree, but the actual criterion for admission is creativity.

2. You need to take test in drawing, clay modelling, and vizualization.

For diploma and for a Bachelors Degree in animation one needs to have passed 12th standard from any recognized university or board.

For post graduate program one should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably ARTS.

Animation course is good for those candidates especially who are creative in nature.
Eligibility :
- For most institutes it is a must that the candidate should be a 12th pass.
- Normally 45% marks is sufficient to be eligible for the course.
- Some institutes require the candidates to appear for a test to check whether they are suited for these courses.
The duration of the course is normally for a period of one year.
There are various institutes that offer course in this area like IIT Mumbai and also Guwahati, National Institute of Designing, Arena Multimedia etc
