yea obviously you can do MBA. actually that's not true. after your B.Tech if you go for MBA then there is so many advantage to you.

first of all your salary will be very high.
next as you have technical knowledge so you will be more preferable and you will get promotion easily.
your technical knowledge also will be help full in your work after completion of MBA.

but one think if you go for MBA your electronics technical knowledge will be less required. there you have to mostly apply management knowledge. so you have to find out in which field you have more interest. if you like technology and you are interested to work with technology then do not go for MBA.

but if you are interested in management then you should go for MBA. one think in MBA any graduate student can take admission. now choose yourself MBA or M.Tech.

These is indee guaranted scope in doing MBA if done sincerely but it is beyond my imagination that why are you leaving your field of electronics and telecommunication as it has also ample scope of everything one can think of.Rest you are the best judge of yourself . I think MBA and engineering would be the best combination. Coz it is good to earn masters degree after your bachelors in engineering. It will increase your points when you are applying for job. If you want to go for MBA, i would like to advice that give your best shot and try to aim for first 20 colleges as if you opt for colleges other than these would not be a good option.
Along with that you can prepare for the campus interview you need to be clear with your concepts in your field as you have good percentage you would be able to clear your company interview then you can decide that whether you want to join comany or do MBA.

please make yourself clear with the objective that you want to attain once you complete your college. As sailing in various boats would drown you.

MBA after B.TECH is a good option... MBA after b.tech is the mostly taken course who are interested to settle their futures highly..
if you are interested in management you can definitely opt for MBA
MBA done from reputed IIM'S changes your life and career to the peak point.. for this you need to get a rank in CAT entrance test which is accepted by IIM's..
Once you got your admission in IIM then your future is fixed.. many students from even IIT's after their B.TECH opt for IIM's so they crack CAT and get admission into them...

most of the student do the m.tech after the b.tech, but you want to know about the MBA after the b.tech, then it is right that you can do this.

you must have to fight the entrance exam for the MBA like

MAT

CAT

etc.

by this you can get a good MBA college.

as per ur question , though there is no connection of electronics to the mba but u may get advantage through telecommunication , if u select mba course with IT stream . it will be helpful to u after the course in finding job.

I have completed my B.tech ECE in 2008, as i completed my engineering within 6 months i got job in a Technical company. During my 4th year i attended for ICET exam got rank and applied for PGRRCDE O.U (Its a 3 yr course correspondence). This is 2011 i completed my MBA exams recently now i am a MBA holder.

Conclusion: B.tech with Management is a good combination dont worry. But friend it all depends upon your activities.

being a engineering graduate it would be good to do your masters in the same field. As doing masters in the same field will increase your opportunity of getting job. But there is no wrong in doing masters degree in business administration too. To get admitted into the masters in engineering course you need to appear for the gate exam. The exam is held once in a year. The gate score is valid for a period of two years. You can attempt exam in the final year also. The aspirant who get into the course with gate score are also give stipend too for their skill.
But if you wish to do masters degree in business administration then you need to appear for in any of the following exam namely CAT, MAT TANCET etc. Aspirants with MBA degree are also in good demand. And the combination of the engineering and business administration degree works out very well and the industry needs such persons.

So, if you have interest in management field then you can go for MBA course without any hesitation.
