IAS Exam Age limits :

candidates age limit not more then 30 years and not less then 21 years for General candidates
age relaxation as per govt rules 3 years for OBC & 5 years for SC/ST candidates

Sir,All the informations about age limit required for IES are as follows.
(a) A candidate for this examination must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st August, of the current year
(b) The upper age-limit of 30 years will be relax able up to 35 years in the case of Government servants
(c) The upper age-limit prescribed above will be further relaxable—
(i) Upto a maximum of five years if acandidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe;
(ii) Upto a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.
Dear 3 years age relexation is for upper limit not to lower limit.
So you are not eligible..................................

OBC limit for IAS

hello,the age limit for some govt.posts is 30. means if any person having 30yrs 2 months.he or she is eligible for that post or not
