Hi dear,
If a university is UGC recognized then AICTE approval is not necessary. AICTE is concerned with technical institutions affiliation but UGC is concerned with all type of institutions. AICTE is just a part of UGC. Therefore you are eligible for all government or private jobs where other AICTE approved college students are eligible to apply. You can see in any job advertisement the eligibility criteria states that the degree should be from a recognized institution. There is no rule that institution should be approved by AICTE only. So, it is not a matter to worry about. Thanks |

Dear Sir,
Pl. let me know that one student starts his B.TECH course in UGC approved university in 2013-14 session, but not approved from AICTE , let us assume that the university gets approval from AICTE in 2016-17 session, then it is the question that what will be effect on semesters certificates which student gets during 2013-14 to 2015-16 ? which is not AICTE approved stamped, now student passed / cleared his degree and gets original degree with AICTE approval, will this degree be full acceptable for furthur study or to get/ apply Govt. jobs ? I think Jitendra has clarified the matter technically. Colleges run courses but only univ (ugc recognised) has power to award degree. So colleges may need technical council approval on their courses. An univ (ugc recgsd) has authority to run courses on any subject, without violating the rules of UGC |
