Re: Government jobs after B.Tech from a University under UGC but not AICTE approved?
Dear Friend
If a university is UGC recognized then AICTE approval is not necessary. AICTE is concerned with technical institutions affiliation but UGC is concerned with all type of institutions. AICTE is just a part of UGC. Therefore you are eligible for all government or private jobs where other AICTE approved college students are eligible to apply. You can see in any job advertisement the eligibility criteria states that the degree should be from a recognized institution. There is no rule that institution should be approved by AICTE only. So, it is not a matter to worry about. |

Re: Government jobs after B.Tech from a University under UGC but not AICTE approved?
yes you are eligible for government jobs. only UGC approval of Institution is sufficient to get job in government organization and in private organization.
there are so many institution which does not have AICTE approval till they are good institution and so many students are placed in good position from that type of Institution. even probable IITs are also does not have AICTE approval. do not worry. just concentrate on your study. then apply for good job. one thing i want to mention that in some advertisement it is clearly mentioned that your institution should have AICTE approval to apply for this post. if it is mentioned then you are not eligible to apply for this type of job. till it is rarely mentioned. best wishes. |

Re: Government jobs after B.Tech from a University under UGC but not AICTE approved?
yes you are eligible for the government job if your institute is approved by UGC but not by AICTE. Making you aware AICTE is responsible for approval of technical course and UGC is responsible for approval of your degree.
There are lot of institutes which are not approved by AICTE but are good institute and students of that institute are working in good organizations and government organization. So dont worry and concentrate on your study. Whenever you apply for any post see the eligibility criteria, if it is mentioned that you should passed from AICTE approved institute, then dont apply otherwise you can apply. |

Re: Government jobs after B.Tech from a University under UGC but not AICTE approved?
GOOD NEWS
FOR ALL STUDENTS OF B.TECH FROM RVD OR ANY OTHER UGC PROVED UNIVERSITY (NOT AICTE APPROVED). Dear go through the letter available on RVD UNIVERSITY WEBSITE. CLICK COURSE APPROVAL THAN U WILL SEE THAT MANY NO. OF PDF FILES ARE BEFORE U. IN WHICH ONE LETTER IS THAT IN WHICH MINISTRY OF HRD CLEARLY MENTIONED THAT THE UNIVERSITY OR DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY DECLARED UNDER SECTION 3 OF UGC WAS NOT REQUIRED A APPROVAL OF AICTE FOR ANY TECHNICAL COURSE BUT THEY MAY SEEK FOR THE ADVISE WITH AICTE FOR THESE COURSES. IN SAME LIST U CAN SAW A LETTER OF AICTE IN WHICH THEY CLEARLY MENTION THAT COURSES APPROVED BY UGC DOESN'T REQUIRE ANY AICTE APPROVAL. Hence, If in government sector if any one object on ur degree than u can go to court for justice. For further enquiry u can call on 8894000157 |

Re: Government jobs after B.Tech from a University under UGC but not AICTE approved?
Hi All,
UGC grants approval to universities in India whereas AICTE grants approval to institutions/colleges which comes under university or are affiliated to the university. If you are studying in a college which is affiliated to some university then you need to have AICTE approval. If you are studying in some university or a deemed university, then you don't need an AICTE approval. In both the cases you are eligible for applying to Govt. jobs. So cheers.... Regards Jitendra |
