My marks is expected to be 35 in gate exam in biotechnology .... Will i get seats in IIts

im getting 25.33/100 in gate 2011 . i belong to obc. will it be sufficient to qualify ??

what will b expected cutoff for obc canditates in gate 2011 mechanical paper? my score is 31, will i clear cutoff this time?

I got 45/100 in PI gate. What chances do I have of getting to the IIT's?

this year cut of is very high may be more than 30 marks for ME.

well the cut-off for mechanical paper will not be more than 28 marks. for people who are saying the paper was easier compare to last 3-4 years, gate paper is always look easy. last year too it was very easy but many people find it difficult to score. well if you get 40-45 this year you will be within top 600-700 rank. and for IOCl they will call to top 100-150 ranks. BARC will interview top 400 or so . if you are getting 55 you will get some IIT but only if you clear their interview. Best of lUCK

well the cut-off for mechanical will not be more than 28 this year too. GATE paper always look easy as they are designed so.They don't want you to sit in the examination hall doing nothing for 3 hrs . So there will be around 50 % of questions which could be attempted at first go. But people still find it hard to score. If you are getting 45+ you can expect a rank within 600+. Top score will be in mid 70s. to get into IIT's yo need to score +55 . IOCL will call Top 200 people and so will BARC. People below 40 can expect RECs.

i dont think there will be a major increase in cut off because ,1. xam being easy doesnt mean evrybody will score high 2.last time there were a lot of seats vacant during spot allocation at various colleges because the number of people who opted for mtech was less.so there is a good probability that the cut off would not change to a great deal..

do not worry i think u will get qualified.As per last year it was 22.5 the cutoff mark,So the probable chance for cut mark to go up will be by 2 to 3 marks.So let it be the maximum 3 then the ultimate cut off mark will be 25.5 ,and in this case u will get qualified
