GATE is an entrance exam for M.tech course .. Which is conducted by IIT and IISC jointly..

GATE score card is valid for 2 years..
After qualifying in GATE exam with in 2 years you can take admission in any M.tech college depending upon the score card....

So, go for it..

the GATE score card is valid for two year. for GATE 2010 the result is published on 15th March,2010. now the score card is valid till 14th March of 2012. after that there will no value of the GATE 2010 score card.
only GATE 2009 had the validity of one years after that all GATE score is valid for two years. you may use the score card to take admission in master degree within these two years. third year student of engineering may also appear in GATE examination and if they qualify then they will be able to use their score card after the completion of engineering.

GATE 2012 score is valid for TWO YEARS from the date of announcement of the GATE 2012 results.

hi am from chennai, i have scored 27 marks in gate 2012 exam. This year i didnt attend the gate exam. But i wish to join M.E in tamil nadu through tanca counselling. Is that possible? Can i participate the counselling? And what about the strike fund?

gate score card is valid for 2 years and you can appear in this exam in final year only......all the best
