I want to know what done after passing IES exam.

What is the validity of IES (engg. serice exam.). Such as GATE exam validiy is 2year.

Plz also give other information about IES exam.

IES exam is an indian engineering service exam which you can give after your graduation means this exam you can give after completion of your engineering course.
as from above you know that the validity for these exam is you must be graduate.
The age limit for these exam is:
minimum age should be 21 years
and maximum age should be 30 years
From these exam you directly recruit for officer rank in goverment sector.

Yes thats the educational qualification required, a graduation degree in engineering. But dear friend nothings enough you need to put all your efforts to get through it.
You need to prove yourself competent . Yet there are other eligibility criteria to be fulfilled
Age limit:
21 t0 30 years for general candidate.upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

see, IES is not like gate exam.

gate is graduate apptitude test. It is a all India basis entrance conducted by IITs for get admission in M.Tech.

where as IES is Indian engineering service. It is a entrance test conducted by UPSC. through IES exam you can join PSU as a executive level engineer.

and validation of IES result only one year.

sir there are 2 notifications, 1 exam will be commenced from june15th to june17th and the other from dec1st to dec3rd.
so will this exam is conducted 2 times a year
