Re: Admission in IIT is possible after class 10?
No, it is not possible to get admission in IIT after completion of 10th standard. The minimum educational qualification required to apply for admission in IIT is completion of 12th standard with PCM stream from a Government recognised board. You have to appear, qualify and secure good rank in JEE examination to get admission for pursuing your higher studies in IIT. So, being a 10th standard passed student, you are not eligible to get admission in IIT.

No, it is not possible to get admission directly after 10th in IIT because as per the minimum qualification a candidate must have completed 12th standard with PCM from a recognised board with minimum 60% marks.
After completing your 12th standard you have to appear in the JEE mains and if you qualify that exam , then you will be eligible to apply for the JEE advance and if qualified in that then you will get admission in IIT. |

Re: Admission in IIT is possible after class 10?
Sorry, Actually it is not possible to get admission in IIT just after 10.
> To get admission in IIT, you must have to pass 12th with physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects. > You must have to complete your 12th standard from recognised board. > First you have to clear JEE main entrance exams and then if you clear JEE mains then you are eligible for applying JEE advance and if you clear it then you get admission in any of the given government IIT college. List of IIT colleges :- - IIT Mumbai - IIT Patna - IIT Delhi - IIT Kanpur - IIT Chennai - IIT Roorkee - IIT Varanasi - IIT Gandhinagar So, to get admission in these colleges, you must have to clear JEE advance. |

Re: Admission in IIT is possible after class 10?
Class 10th passed student cannot be directly admitted to IIT.
For getting admission to IIT, candidate needs to complete his 11th and 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as his primary subjects. Then, in 12th standard or after passing it, candidate needs to apply for JEE Main Exam. Candidate will have to qualify JEE Main exam and they apply for JEE Advanced Exam. After securing decent rank in JEE Advanced Exam, candidate will have to apply for CCB Counseling. Then, choose anyone of the IITs with preferred branch to get admission in IIT. |

Re: Admission in IIT is possible after class 10?
IIT refers to Indian Institute of Technology and same is known to be the best technical colleges of India for pursuing various technical and science degree courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc etc. . Further for admission in IITs in any course you need to qualify its respective entrance examination by satisfying its respective eligibility criteria.
As far as you are concerned about your admission in IITs after your Class 10th studies then it is not possible as the lowest degree course offered by IITs is B.tech for which the minimum educational qualification required is a higher secondary school degree with PCM group from a recognized board. |

Re: Admission in IIT is possible after class 10?
No! He should pass class XII. Even after passing out class XII there are several student cannot crack IIT or JEE Advanced. You should have clear and good base to crack IIT which generally starts from class XI. If he wants to crack IIT then he should start going for good coaching institute like Aakash from next year and start the preparation as early as possible.
