Re: After MBA how can I make my career in Teaching?
Dear
Don't feel like a looser in life.No problem if you are not getting selected. The world is checking your Patience and you must prove them that you are something by improving and learning what you have gained from the past. If you want to be the Teacher then you have to work hard on your Communication skills. It is so because in Teaching job you can't survive without effective Communication. If you can't be effective in speech then how can you make the student to understand what you know about the subject. |

Re: After MBA how can I make my career in Teaching?
Hi,
if you want to be in the teaching profession, you should better do phd. With out phd you will be a 2nd class citizen in teaching/ academic career. Iims and xlri offer fellow programme in mangement and these can lead to a teaching/ academic career in some good institutions. They give you a stipend for your living expenses. There is no major financial commitment. If you are more ambitious, you can do phd . Hope this helps you.. |

Re: After MBA how can I make my career in Teaching?
Dear Shabnam,
you need to work hard on your communication skill, moreover there are other areas where you need to focus upon particularly Comprehension ability, Public Speaking as well as a genuine intrest towards the books. Considering your Present status, you can get entry in Management Colleges as a visiting faculty where you will be paid on the basis of number of classes. I suggest you to grab any such opportunity that comes to you, as that will help you develop teaching skill and meanwhile prepare hard for NET examination but most importantly you must have patience and perseverance for teaching as career is a long journey. |

Hello Friend,
Now MBA Is The Required Field For All Jobs Without The MBA Candidate, It's Not Possible To Maintain The Marketing And Such The Related Fields. So Don't Worry You have give the more interview than you are selected in the good company and your career graph going to high. You also applied in College For Teaching. For This Submit The Resume In College. All The Best!!!!!!!! |

Create your profile on these websites and apply >> Job Consultancies :Not all Job consultancies are fraud. If some consulatncies asks for fees or money for providing jobs, than ignore such consultancies >> Ask your friends and relatives who arfe already working in good companies to forward your resume to their company HR team Also you can apply for the Government jobs like: >> BANK PO >> BANK CLERKS >> SSC Combined Graduate Level exams |

Re: After MBA how can I make my career in Teaching?
If your communication skills are not good then how would you survive as the teacher? Because good communicating skills are essential for the teacher. Therefore I will recommend that you first take some coaching to improve communication skills.
As far as teaching job is concerned, I believe the best option would be college lectureship. I always recommend post graduates to apply for the college lectureship instead of school teaching. Good thing about college lectureship is that you wont require any additional qualification but in school teaching, you will have to complete Bachelor of Education course as well. To apply for the college lectureship you will have to clear the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants Commission. After clearing this test you will be able to find lecturer job in central government colleges. Eligibility for NET 1. The applicant should be citizen of India. 2. Any PG degree is sufficient to apply. 3. Must have minimum of 55 percent marks in post graduation. 4. SC/ST need 50 percent or more marks to apply. 5. Your degree should be completed from UGC recognized college. 6. The NET subject for MBA graduates is Management. 7. During the final year of PG, you can appear for NET. 8. But candidates who fail to submit degree within 2 years face disqualification. 9. There is no restriction on number of attempts. 10. If applying for JRF then the age limit will be 28 years. 11. OBC candidate can apply for JRF up to 31 years. 12. 33 years is the max age limit for SC/ST to apply for JRF. 13. There is no upper age limit for college lectureship. |

Quote:
--> If your aspiring to become a Teacher in Government Schools then you have to qualified in B.Ed Course -->> If your aspiring to become a Professor in Colleges or Institutions then you have to qualified in NET Entrance Examination ... Here you didn't Mention in which level your aspiring for ?? So, you can choose any One course as per your aspiration ... For Teaching Field Communication is More Important .. So, One should have good Communication skill to get Teaching Field .. So, I suggest you to develop your English Communication skill .. B.Ed Stands for Bachelor of Education and the duration of the course is for One year and the course is divided into Two semester .. Graduation course or Equivalent Qualification in any faculty from recognized university are make the candidate eligible for this B.Ed Course .. No Age limit for B.Ed Course .. After Completing your B.Ed Course ,, you need to appear in TET Entrance Examination with good percentage of marks .. NET stands for National Eligibility Test and this Entrance Examination is Conducted by UGC for every year .. One should Complete Master degree course in any discipline from recognized university .. Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Entrance Examination .. There is No age criteria for Lectureship and To appear in Junior Fellowship Program then your age should be less then 28 years and Upper relaxation will applicable for sc/st candidates and obc candidates .. So, you have to apply for any one course according to your aspiration ... All The Best !!! |

Re: After MBA how can I make my career in Teaching?
Hello,
Searching job in any field is a very bad statement to make. First you should sit and relax and then focus on what you really feel like doing and then go chase your dream. If you want to become a teacher then you have two options - 1. B.Ed - It's a two year course and after that you can apply for govt. as well as private schools. 2. NET - MBA is a postgraduate degree and hence you are eligible for this also. This is a exam which makes you eligible for teaching in govt and private colleges. Choose the way you like and please work on your communication skills |

Dear shubham, Just do one thing... After completing you mba just pass the NET exam if you pass that you can apply to any colleges for teaching but you will have to face PI interviews there and for that keep improving your communication skills by reading novels and newspapers.
