As per notification of Air Force Common Admission Test, candidates who are born after 02 Jan, 1993 are only eligible. Age limit is 20-24 years for flying branch.

If you have license issued by DGCA, then you will get upper age relaxation of 2 years. Then you can become eligible for AFCAT otherwise you are eligible for technical and ground duty branches only.

No, you are not eligible to appear for AFCAT examination for flying branch jobs. AFCAT examination is conducted by Air Force twice every year.

The maximum age limit to appear for Flying branch is 24 years as on 01 January 2017 for AFCAT I examination but there is two year relaxation for those candidates having a current commercial pilot licence.

But, you are eligible to appear in examination for technical branch as per age limit. For more information about examination visit at www.careerairforce.nic.in.
