I am 30 years old. Can i apply for goverment jobs?and also i would like to know what is the age limit for applying government jobs?

Various jobs have various age limitation.For Banking jobs general age limit 30 years(relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years,OBC 3 years,ex serviceman 5 years),for Civil service and miscellaneous service jobs are 30 years limitation.

But in case of some deputation jobs it may go around 40 years.

I know this as per best of my knowledge.

it is different for different sectors so can't say that you should have this limit or this

so you have be specific which field you want to join some want below 25

and others want less than 30 ........

Age limit for government jobs are between 21 to 30 years.
In case of candidate belonging to reservation category relaxtion of upto 5 years may be provided.
It also depends on the post for which you are applying for.

Age limit for most of the Government jobs may be 21 - 30 years.

The relaxation age for OBC - 3years, SC/ST - 5years.

Some of the Govenment jobs may range upto 40 years.

In case of UPSC exam,age should be between 21 to 30 year for General category,for OBC category 21 to 33 years and for SC/ST category only minimum age is required that is 21 years.

In case of bank PO's exam age should be between 21 to 27 year,this is same for all category.

It age limit will differs from sector to sector.

If you had asked at particular sector i would reply exact age limit for that sector.

Age limit for government jobs:

Usually the age limit in most of the jobs in government sector is 21-30 years.

The age limit differs from one job to another but most of the jobs require this age limit.

Relaxation is there for candidates belonging to reserved category, i.e OBC and SC/ST.

Relaxation is given as under:
1. For OBC candidates: 3 years.
2. For SC/ST candidates: 5 years.

For doing job in a government sector you have age eligibility of 18 years or above than 18 years and you have also passed you 12th exam in any stream with 50% aggregate marks.

Your age is 30 years after that you will apply for government job.

Hi, as per my knowledge age limit starts from 18 years and can end upto maximum of 40 years. But if seen mosty qualification matters and some work experience, it may be from a private firm also. Different jobs have different age limits but still you can try. All the best !

The candidate should be B.E/B.TECH or equivalent examination pass with minimum 65% marks.I think you have this criteria hopefully and you can sit in this examination

The Govt. jobs, it has different age limits for different jobs.

For Bank jobs, the upper age limit is 30 years (for SC/ST/OBC candidates have age relaxation).

For civil services and some miscellaneous jobs have 30 years age limited.

Job to job it varies the age.

Different jobs have different age limits we can't say in particular.

But generally it is in between 30-35 years.

After 35 it is considered as relaxation period.

Sorry to say sir i think you are not eligible for dsc.

You can go as headmaster in private schools.

May some govt schools also take above 37 try your luck.....

the age limit for applying the government jobs is 28years.For S.C.&S.T. there is an exception for 5 years. For B.C. there is an exception for 3 years. For O.C. there is no age exception

The age limit for applying government jobs varies according to the category you belong to.
For SC/ST category there is age relaxation upto 30 years and even upto 36-45 years for some jobs. But if you belong to General category there is no chance of age relaxation and therefore you cannot apply if you are over-aged.
