Please tell me that what is age limit for 2016 exam of ips? Someone please explain me the what is age limit for the 2016 exam for lps officer?

I.P.S stands for the Indian Police Service. To get the recruitment you have to qualify in the Civil services examination conducted by the UPSC.

* Candidates must have passed the graduation from the recognised university.
* Candidates age must be between 21-32 years with the relaxation in age for the reserved category.

There was some modification in age limit in 2015 for the Civil Services examination. As per the 2015 notification, the age limit for candidates of different category:

1. General Candidate: 21-32 years.

2. OBC candidate: 21-35 years.

3. SC/ST candidate: 21-37 years.

The notification for the 2016 Civil services exam will be released in the month of April. The examination calendar is uploaded on the website and the online application will start from 23/04/2016.

Eligibility for IPS Exam :

Age Limit : For Indian Police Service Exam a candidate age should be 21 years minimum and not more than 32 years for General category whereas for Other Backward Class candidate age should not be more than 35 years and for Scheduled caste and Scheduled Tribe age should not be more than 37 years.

Educational Qualification : A candidate should complete his/her Bachelor's degree in any discipline recognized institute.

IPS examination is conducted by UPSC every year to recruit candidates in various post in Indian Govt.
It is among the toughest examination conducted in India.
Eligibility for candidates to appear in IPS examination are
-Candidate must hold Bachelor's degree in any disciple from a recognized university with minimum of 45% marks.
-Candidate must be of age more than 21 year and less than 32 years at the time of applying
-Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC and ST candidates are applicable

Also number of attempts is limited to 4 for general category, 6 for OBC and no limit for SC and ST candidates.
So, general age limit for candidates is up to 32 years and candidates must have attained minimum age of 21 years to appear in the examination.

Below is the required academic criteria and age criteria for the candidates to apply for Civil Services.

IPS stands for Indian police service. Candidate want to become IAS officer they should have to write entrance exam besides that they should have some mandatory things which are listed below.
->candidate must belongs to India
->Age should be 32 years of general category and 35 years for other backward caste.
->And physical appearance should be good with min 148 cm height.
->eye sight should be good
->candidate should not have any surgeries.

For IPS, you have to clear civil service exam.

Age criteria for this exam :

Other than age criteria, there is physical requirement also :

Height – Male 165 cm & ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm
Female 150 cm & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm
Chest – Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm.
Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm.
Eye sight – 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye.

Also there is another eligibility criteria that is that you must have a graduate degree from a recognized university.

Without the above mentioned criteria's met you will not be able to give the Civil Services exam i.e the entrance exam for I.P.S.
