Age limit for IPS 2016 exam?
What is age limit for the 2016 exam for lps officer? Please tell me that what is age limit for 2016 exam of ips?

IPS stands for the Indian Police Service. IPS comes under the Civil Services of Indian Government. The examination conducting authority called Union Public Service Commission conducts Civil Services exam every year.
Eligibility criteria: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year candidates can also apply for the exam. As per latest modifications by UPSC in age, the age limit for upcoming Civil Services exam in 2016 will be 21-32 years for general category candidates, 21-35 years for OBC candidates, 21-37 years for SC/ST candidates. One important change was made in 2015, Civil Service Aptitude paper was qualifying. Candidate only need to qualify this paper by scoring 33%. Marks of general studies paper will be cut off marks for mains exam. |

IPS stands for the Indian Police Service and it is the examination conducted by the UPSC every year.
The required eligibility to appear for the examination is candidates must have passed the graduation from the recognised university and the age must be between the 21-32 years and the relaxation in the age for the reserved category. Tye application for the 2016 examination will he available from the last week of April and the examination will be conducted in the August for the first stage. 21-30 years for General Category. 21-33 years for OBC Category. 21-35 years for SC/ST category. Qualification Required:-You must have graduate in any stream from any recognized university. |

The age limit for the Indian Police Services exam called Civil Services examination is different for different category and is as below:
>>21-32 years for general category candidates with no upper age relaxation. >>21-35 years for OBC candidates. >>21-37 years for SC/ST candidates. You must be graduate in any discipline from a recognized university to apply for the exam. The notification for exam will come on 23/04/2016 after that you can apply for the exam at www.upsconline.nic.in. |

First of all I want to make you one thing clear that there is no any examination called as IPS examination exists.
But for becoming an IPS ( Indian Police Service ) officer you need to clear the Civil Services examination held once every year by Union Public Service Commission. For appearing in the same examination you need to have the following qualifications :- * Nationality and Age limit :- You must have the nationality of India with your age lying within 21 years to 32 years by the 1st August of that year in which you are giving the same examination if you belong to general category otherwise there is provision of age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per the government norms. * Educational Qualification :- You must have completed your bachelor degree course or must be in the final year of same degree course with any discipline of your choice from a recognized university. The examination is organised in three stages which are generally known as Preliminary test ( CSAT ), Mains and Personality Assessment Test respectively. UPSC conducts Civil Services Exam to make recruitment in Indian Police Services.
Age limit for IPS 2016 exam is 21 years to 32 years for open category. Upper age limit is relaxed for OBC candidates by 3 years , 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 10 years for PWD candidates. Other eligibility criteria for Civil Services Exam are as mentioned below :- -The candidate must be a citizen of India. -The candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized college or university with any percentage. -The selection procedure consists of three stages,namely; * Preliminary Examination (Objective Type), * Mains Examination (Conventional Type), * Personal Interview & Group Discussion. |

IPS is a Post as Indian Police Officer.For this one has to appear in the entrance exam known as Civil Service examination.This examination is conducted by the Upsc every year in the following three stages:-
1. Preliminary. 2. Mains. 3. Interview. The basic eligibility criteria for appearing in this exam is, to have a minimum bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university with good percentile. Aslo the appearing aspirant's age must lie in between 21 years to 32 years.For the SC/ST the age must be in between 21 years to 37 years.For the Obc category aspirants it is 21 years to 35 years. The general category aspirants has only total no. Of four chances to attempt this exam. The Obc category students has total seven chance to attempt this exam. For the SC/ST aspirant there is no limit to appear in this exam. They can appear every year if the age lies in the age bar. |

However you can expect the notification in the month of May for IPS 2016. Academic eligibility is Graduation with any stream. In addition, the student should be a citizen of India.
