You can not apply for the National Eligibility Test as for now. It does not matter whether you are applying for college lectureship or the Junior Research Fellowship. You are not eligible for the National Eligibility Test as for now.
To appear for National Eligibility Test candidate should either have completed post graduation or should be in final year of it. Since you are in first year of Master of Business Administration, it is not possible to apply. You can apply during the final year. However keep some things in mind before applying. 1. You should be confident of completing the post graduation course with marks necessary to appear for the National Eligibility Test. If you failed to meet the marks, it would lead to disqualification. 2. The final year students are also required to submit their degree within 2 years of clearing National Eligibility Test. Once again failing to do so would result in disqualification. The National Eligibility Test is conducted twice a year by University Grants Commission. Here is the eligibility criteria. NET Eligibility 1. The exam is open for Indian nationals. 2. Post graduation degree is minimum requirement. 3. You should complete the course from UGC recognized college. 4. General and OBC need minimum of 55 percent marks in post graduation. 5. SC and ST need 50 percent marks. 6. Final year students of post graduation are also eligible to apply. 7. Your subject for NET will be Management. 8. The age limit is 28 years for JRF. 9. The relaxation is 3 years for OBC. 10. Relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST applying for JRF. 11. You should be at least 19 years old to apply for college lectureship. 12. There is no upper age limit for lectureship. 13. No limit on attempts. |
