I am willing to know that as i have passed out my graduation from b.com stream, am i eligible to apply for cs course? And what are other things needed such as percentage etc and on which month the admission goes on?

Definitely, you are eligible to apply for the Company Secretary course after graduation in commerce.
There is no percentage restriction as such.
Graduation (except fine arts) qualification is sufficient.

You can register for the course anytime in a year.
The registration fee is Rs.12,500/-

The CS course is comprised of Foundation, Executive and Professional Programs which
are to be completed in the respective order.
As you are a graduate, you can directly get admission in Executive Program.
The course fee of Executive Program is Rs.6500/- for commerce graduates.
The examination fee of the Executive Program exams is Rs.900/- per module of the exam.

After passing the Executive Program, you can get admission in Professional Program.
The course fee of the Professional Program is Rs.7500/- and the examination fee of the
Professional Program is Rs.750/- per module of the exam.

Yes... sure you can apply for Company Secretary course after passing B.Com.
Basic qualification required for Company Secretary course is 10+2 only & minimum age required for this course is 17 years.There is no percentage limit mentioned for this course.

Pay Scale: Rs.25,000 to 50,000


The Company Secretary course is divided into three stages:
------------------------------------------------------------

• Foundation Programme
• Executive Programme
• Professional Programme

Graduates from any stream(except fine arts), can enroll directly for the executive Programme.

Professional Programme can be pursued only after passing the Executive Programme.

Training: You will have to undergo 15 months Management Training in Companies sponsored by the Institute after passing the Executive or Professional Program.



FEE Detail for CS course:

The fee for CS for Executive Programme - Rs. 7000/- (for Commerce Graduates) & Rs. 7750/- (for Non Commerce).


The duration of CS course is 2 years after graduation and training will be necessary if you want to like participate cs course,in CS training is not restricted to participate only. You have to under go 15 months training in cs to get the member ship of ICSI{Institute of Company Secretaries of India}.



Admission Procedure for ICSI:

You can enroll for the CS program any time in a year, the exams of which are held in June as well as December.You can collect the prospectus from the ICSI(Institute of Company Secretaries of India) offices by paying Rs 300 by cash for Executive programs respectively.

dear friend,

Every eight month before you have to fill the application form of C.S. examination foundation program.

There are two session generally in a year for C.S.

So for June,2012 session you have to fill up the form on 30th September,2011.

And the December,2012 session you have to fill up the form on 31th March,2012.
