For becoming lecturer, you should apply for Central Board of Secondary Education National Eligibility Test.

Eligibility criteria for NET exam:

1. You must have done master's degree in any stream from a recognized university. Final year post graduation candidates can also apply for exam.

2. You should have at least 55% marks in master's degree to apply for NET exam.

There is no upper age limit for CBSE NET exam for Lecturer. You can also apply for State Eligibility Test. NET/SET qualified candidates can apply for lecturer jobs in central and state universities and colleges.
