Hello friend,
Since you have scored 50% in graduation, you are eligible for most of the public sector banks. The eligibility criteria varies as per banks and for many public sector banks, the minimum educational qualification required is a bachelors degree with a minimum of 55% marks. In most of the private sector banks, to write PO exam, you must have scored a minimum of 60% in graduation.

Apart from educational qualification, the age limit also varies and usually is 30 years for public sector banks and 28 for private sector banks, however, for some private sector banks, the maximum age limit is 25 years.

Friend the cut off percentage for bank po is as per the decisions taken by the BANK authority,
And the cutoff mark is probably 55% or 60% in graduate,

however if you are lucky then the criteria may be 50% ,
but now you are not..

It is difficult to tell whether you are eligible or not since there are some banks that require 50% in graduation and many require 60% in graduation.
If you belong to SC/ST/OBC category then surely you are eligible since every bank has some fixed spots for reseved categories.
If you belong to general category you can give exams of not all banks.
But you can also apply on the basis of 12th class percentage.

Actually most of the banks put the criteria of minimum 55% marks in graduation.

And those who belong to SC/ST and OBC category get a relaxation of 5% marks i.e 50%.

But one thing is also that different banks put different criteria. for example, some banks may put the criteria of 50% or may be 60%.

So first go through the notification or advertisement carefully before applying otherwise your form will be canceled if you don't fulfill the eligibility criteria.

With 50% marks you can try for various banks...check the websites for any vacancy or go to any local stores in market to get the advertisement...

All the best.............

dear friend,
My friend , the aggregate percentage criteria varies from bank to bank..

Mostly it varies from 55%-60%..

As you have mentioned that you secured 50% aggregate in graduation course , then sorry to say you that you are not eligible for the exam..

To appear in BANK PO exam one must have to fulfill some eligibility criteria first..

Eligibility criteria for bank PO exam--

1.Candidate has to complete the graduation in any trade.

2.Final year candidates can also apply for the exam

3.Candidate has to secure 60% aggregate through out the career.
For SC/ST the percentage relaxation is 5%..

4.Age should be in between 21-35 years.
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.

5.Candidate must be computer literate.

These are the eligibility criteria..

As you have secure less than 55% aggregate then you are not eligible for any BANK PO exams.

All the best.

yes, you can.
There are various bank ranks like clerical, PO (Probationary Officer) for which entrances are conducted.
PO entrance mandatorily needs graduation to be completed by the candidate.

But for the clerk common written exam (CWE) conducted by IBPS counts 10th and 12th marks too.
For this exam,
you must have 60% marks in 10th or
50% marks in 12th
your age must be in between 18-28 years of age.

All the best!!!
