As per the recognition status of the Institutions of Engineer, the Section A & B of AMIE and Graduateship examination of the institutions are considered equivalent to bachelors degree awarded by any other recognized university and candidates holding any such qualifications are eligible to apply for Civil Service Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission.
Apart from holding any of the qualifications mentioned above, one needs to be within the age limit as prescribed below:

Minimum Eligible Age: 21 years
Maximum Age Limit: 30 years for candidates belonging general category, 33 years for candidates belonging to OBC category and 35 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
