Am I eligible to get admission for diploma IT after scoring 90% marks in SSC board?


I have scrored 90. 00% in ssc board this year. i want to know if there is IT or COMP. trade available for diploma and if it is there can i get addmission in walchand.? i have additional 3% of sports too... plz inform me for the same

Yes, you are eligible to get admission for pursuing Diploma in IT or Computer Science stream after completion of your 10th standard with an aggregate of 90% marks from SSC Board.

Most of the colleges offers admission in Diploma course through State level entrance examination or by conducting their own entrance examination. Candidates who have qualified the entrance examination need to participate in counselling process to choose the stream and college which they are interested to do pursue Diploma course.

The counselling committee will allot a seat to you based on your examination rank and in which college you are eligible for getting admission to do Diploma course. There are very few colleges which offers admission in Diploma course on basis of the candidate's 10th standard board examination marks.
