Am I eligible to give CPT exam before completion of 12th standard?
Am I eligible to give CPT exam before completion of 12th standard? Can you please guide me with the complete information on the same? What is the minimum eligibility criteria needed for the same? It will be helpful if you can answer me back soon.

The minimum qualification required to appear in Common Proficiency Test conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountant, one must have completed 12th from recognised board in any discipline with minimum 50% of marks.

No, you are not eligible to give CPT examination without completing 12th standard.
The minimum eligibility criteria required to appear in CPT examination is completion of Higher Secondary School (10+2) examination or equivalent from a recognized board. There is no age limit to appear in CPT examination. Since, you have not passed your 12th standard, you are not eligible to appear in CPT examination. |

CPT stands for Common Proficiency Test and the examination is conducted by the ICAI twice every year in June and December. The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed or appearing for 10+2 from any recognised board. There is no minimum requirement to appear for examination. CPT stands for Common Proficiency Test. It is conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in June and December for Chartered Accountancy course. This is the first stage of Chartered Accountancy course.
It has three levels: >>Common Proficiency test. >>Integrated Professional Competence course. >>Final course. The registration for CPT examination can be done after tenth standard but a candidate can appear for exam only after 10+2 board examination.. So, you can not appear for CPT before completion of 10+2 standard. You can apply for this exam after 10+2 board exams. |

The full form of CPT is Common Proficiency Test.
*No, candidates who have not done 10+2 can not apply for CPT examination. It is an objective examination which consists of questions from accountancy, aptitude, mercantile law and economics. *You can apply for CPT exam only after 10+2 passing or once examination is over. |

Yes, of course are eligible to appear for CPT examination even if you are appearing for 10+2 examination from any recognised board.
As per eligibility to appear for examination candidates must have passed or appearing for 10+2 from ay recognised board. There is no age limit to appear for examination. You can appear for the CPT after your 12th only and not during your 12th or else you have to be in the finale year of your 12th examinations at least to appear for the CPT examination.
CPT examination is conducted by the ICAI and the CPT examination is conducted twice in a year Minimum Requirements for the CPT examination:
So,you should have completed 12th or should be appearing for the finale year examination |

If you have cleared the 10th examination you are eligible for CPT. After 12th examination also, you can appear for the Common Proficiency Test. You must have to register 60 days prior to the first day of the month in which CPT exam is to be held i.e. 1st April and 1st October for June and December exam respectively. CPT examinations are held in June and December every year. 1. To be eligible for this test, a candidate must complete 10+2 from a recognized board. You are not eligible to apply for test before 10+2 exam. 2. Only those candidates who have passed can also apply for exam. Candidates become eligible to register for CPT exam after 10th but can appear for exam only after 12th. |

CPT stands for Common Proficiency Test. It is conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in June and December every year for all candidates who want to become Chartered Accountant.
All those candidates who have done 10+2 from a recognized board or appearing for board exams are eligible to apply for CPT examination but you can not apply for CPT exam before 10+2 board exams. It is an objective exam of 200 marks and you must score at least 50% marks aggregate to crack this exam. |

Required Eligibility Criteria --> The minimum eligibility for pursuing C.A. is +2 with 50%. --> There is no age limit. If the candidate wants to does CA course after 12th he/she should have to appear in CPT exam. |
