No, you are not eligible to give CPT examination without completing 12th standard.

The minimum eligibility criteria required to appear in CPT examination is completion of Higher Secondary School (10+2) examination or equivalent from a recognized board. There is no age limit to appear in CPT examination.

Since, you have not passed your 12th standard, you are not eligible to appear in CPT examination.

CPT stands for Common Proficiency Test. It is conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in June and December for Chartered Accountancy course. This is the first stage of Chartered Accountancy course.

It has three levels:

>>Common Proficiency test.

>>Integrated Professional Competence course.

>>Final course.

The registration for CPT examination can be done after tenth standard but a candidate can appear for exam only after 10+2 board examination.. So, you can not appear for CPT before completion of 10+2 standard.

You can apply for this exam after 10+2 board exams.

*You can apply for CPT exam only after 10+2 passing or once examination is over.

Hello,

If you have cleared the 10th examination you are eligible for CPT.

After 12th examination also, you can appear for the Common Proficiency Test. You must have to register 60 days prior to the first day of the month in which CPT exam is to be held i.e. 1st April and 1st October for June and December exam respectively.

CPT examinations are held in June and December every year.

CPT fees is mentioned below:

Cost Of CPT prospectus: Rs. 100

CPT registration fees: Rs. 600

CPT exam fee: Rs. 500

You can find more information on CA-CPT eligibility, fees, and other important CPT related queries at ICAI website icai.org/post.html?post_id=10064

I hope it helps.
