sir I Want To Know That am I eligible for NDA 2(2001) If my date of birth is 28/februry/1993. Plz Rply

Age limit: The age limit is candidates born between 02-07-1993 and 01-01-1996.
only male unmarried .

if your date of birth is match upper date then you eligible.


Important dates:

Closing date for online registration: 09-05-2011, up to 11.59 PM.
Last date for receipt of offline application: 09-05-2011, (For far flung areas 16-05-2011).
Date of written test will be conducted on: 21-08-2011.

Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit 16 ½ to 19 yrs
Marital Status Unmarried

Sorry sir, but if you are 28 years old you are not eligible for the exam.

Sorry you are not eligible However you can try for CDS exam and SSC interview.
Only unmarried male candidates are allowed to appeared in the NDA examination..
age must be between 16-1/2 to 19 years
12th appearing or appeared students are eligible....
Only Maths students are eligible for applying NDA examination..
I think you have not passed this criteria so you are not eligible for applying for NDA examination..

Sorry to say this you are not Eligible for N.D.A Exam.

because your 28 yrs old and the Age should between 16 1/2 - 19 Yrs of age at the time of Appearing.

And Only Unmarried male candidates are Eligible for NDA Exams.

But you can Appear for Civil Service Exams like IAS,IPS....

For civil Service Examination the candidate should have a graduate degree and Age should between 21 - 30 Yrs.

You should have written the question properly. In the title you have mentioned that you are 28 years old. In the details you have said your date of birth is 28th feb, 1993.
However for NDA exam age limit is 16.5 year to 19 years.
If your age is 28 years, your eligibility is out of question.
To write NDA II 2011, a candidate should be born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996.
So, if your birthday is 28th Feb, 1993, you are still not eligible to write NDA as it is earlier than 2nd July.
Don't get disappointed. As you always have other options to build your career.

this is 12th standerd exam.
but if you want to serve the nation , then after post graduation you can appear for CDS & SSC examination .

The eligibility to write NDA Exam is

Educational qualification :-

10+2 or Equivalent(Diploma) students are Eligible for this. Final year students in Diploma are also Eligible.

Age limits :-

Your age must be in between 16 and half age till 19 years in order to Make Eligible for Write the Exam.

SO, your age as of now is 18 years 7 months 2days so you are eligible ..

Yes you are surely eligible as the minimum criteria for giving the NDA exam is :-

1) You should be a 12th pass-out (with PCM if you want to go for Air Force or Navy)

2) You should be within the age limit if 16.5-19 years

Apart from these,you should be physically fit and should have a perfect eyesight..

1. Qualification required -
Candidate should complete the 12th with science (physics,chemistry,math ) from any recognized board .
2. 6/6 vision is required.
3.Age limit = 16.5 to 19 years.

If you can satisfy all of the above you are eligible.

NDA-I exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.

NDA-II exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.
Exam will held on 19th Aug 2012.

so clearly you are not eligible.
as your is 28 you can't apply for NDA exam you can try for ssc, cds, etc......

eligibility required for NDA exam is;
-you should be 12th with minimum 60% marks
-your age should be between 16.5-19

as you are 28 years old so you crossed the age limit and so
you are not eligible for the exam.....

Eligibility criteria for NDA Exam

• The candidate must have either completed or appearing in 12th or Intermediate exam with atleast Physics, Chemistry and Maths as cumpulsory subject
• The age of candidate should lie between 16.5 to 19 years
• Marital Status - Only unmarried male candidates are allowed.

So on the basis of the above criteria a candidate with 28 years of age are not eligible for NDA exam.



According to you ,your date of birth is 28/februry/1993 means your age is 18 years 7 months and 3 days means your age is less than 19 years which makes you eligible for appearing in NDA examination .

suppose .NDA form comes in month of september then i kwon that i m elligble .but if the exam date are in april then i dont fit in 16 - 19 year .can i give the exam

If you are interested to join Indian army then you must give the entrance exams conducted by UPSC but you must be eligible for that.
As you have mentioned your qualification and your age, your qualification is ok but according to your ge you are not eligible to apply for NDA exam because age Limit to apply for this exam is 16.5-19 years.
But your age is 28 years so you are not eligible on the basis of 10+2(PCM)

But, yes you can join Indian Army through CDS(Combined Defence Services) exam conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Candidate must be graduate from recognized University.

2. Age Limit: 19-24 years

3. Must be citizen of India.

4. Should be Physically fit.
