Am I eligible for IAS exam after passing B.Tech CSE
i am student of b.tech course (cse) and wanna give ias exam , so i want to know that whether i am eligible to give ias exam that will be taken when my 4th year will start or i can only give it next year when my couse is about to end .... plz reply

Graduation is the basic qualification for IAS. There is no problem in attending the exam at the end of 4th year. But to get selected, you need to submit degree certificates at the time of interview. Those who have completed 21 years are only eligible. Those over 30 years of age cannot apply.

To become an IAS officer, you have to give the UPSC Civil Services Exams
This exam is held in three stages-Prelims, Mains and Interview Eligibilty- Graduation Pass in any Stream. Age- Minimum 21 years Maximum -30 years OBC candidates gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations Attempts- 4 for the General Candidates and 7 for the OBC candidates. So, if you meet the above eligibilty, than you can apply for the UPSC exams. Regarding Preparations, if you ahve time than you can join a coaching, otrherwise get the study material of the leading IAS coaching Institute like RAU and study at home. Read one National newspaper and One national Magazine daily |

Dear friend,
To become an IAS officer a exam is there which is upsc civil services exam.Minimum age for this is 21 years and maximum age should be below 30 years,therefor after persuing your btech you can apply for this exams if you age is between 21 and 30.There is age relaxation for sc/st and obc candidates.you can give this exam only after completing your btech that is four years of you graduation(btech). good luck buddy...... |

Yes, you will be eligible for IAS after passing B.Tech. CSE as the minimum educational qualification for IAS is Graduation in any stream.
IAS - Indian Administrative Service and to become an IAS officer, one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam, conducted by UPSC every year. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. IAS stands for Indian Adminstrative Service. This exam conducted by the UPSC once in a year. ELIGIBILITY: Candidate should complete the graduation from any recognized university. Final Year pursuing candidates are eligible. No minimum percentage required. AGE LIMIT: The candidate age limit is between 21 to 30 years. 3 years age relaxation for OBC Category. 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST Categories. IAS is simply known as Indian Administrative Service.It is a prestigious civil service exam conducted by UPSC every year. Eligibility: Education-Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University is the minimum qualification to appear the Exam.The Final year students also apply for the exam & appear the preliminary exam. Age- Minimum 21 Year & maximum 30 year on 1st August of the year of examination. The upper age limit is also relaxed for certain reserved categories. Number of attempts - There is a limited no. of time you can appear the exam. 1.General - 4 2. OBC - 7 3.Physical Handicapped - 7 4.SC & ST - No limit on number of attempt. i am completed diploma in EEE (3years) and then completed B.TECH Electrical engineering (3 years through E CET). but actually an graduate must pass the 4 year B.TECH. this my question. I'M CONFUSED. PLEASE ANY ONE ANSWER MY QUESTION. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE
