IAS exam after B.Tech (CS) 3rd year?
can u tell me what is elligibilty of IAS exam.
i m jyoti nd doin BTECH . i m in 3 year CS branch . i want to do the IAS exam . can i give this exam. my percentage is in 10th 74% in 12th 67% in BTECh 1st year 69% in second year 74% Is it enough to giving IAS exam. |

your percentage is enough for giving civils. but by the time when u r called for interview your should have completed your B.Tech..so you are not eligible in 3 year but you are eligible in 4th year..

Hello friend,
The minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for IAS exam is a bachelors degree. The minimum eligible age for the same is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years for candidates belonging to general category, 33 years for candidates belonging to OBC and 35 years for SC/ST. The last date for submission of application form is 21st March 2011. The preliminary exam is supposed to be conducted on 12th June 2011. It is having Preliminary Exam first, If you find success to clear Preliminary Exam then you will be eligible for writing Mains. Yes You are Eligible For writing Civil Service Exam But after Your 3rd Year. Only Final year Students can Give this Exam. You need to go for 1 year More. No these are still not enough because you are still not eligible....
You will be eligible after completing your Third year. the only educational criteria for IAS is a bachelors degree in any discipline under any recognized university....students in their final year can also apply. so you can apply next year, jyoti. |

IAS exam are conducted by UPSC.You needs to be a Graduate for IAS exam eligibility .Final year student also can apply for the exam.
IAS Exam Eligibility: Age Eligibility: You need to be between 21 years to 30 years on the 1st August, 2011. Age relaxations exist as per Govt. rules. Academic Eligibility: You must be a graduate from a recognized university. |

IAS exam
the eligibility criteria for CSE is -> you should have a degree from a recognized Indian University. ->you should have minimum age of 21 years you don't worry about percentage all the percentages in your career are accepted by this exam.. so all you have to do is perform well in CSE all the best ~aditya~ |

Yes , you can apply for the IAS exam as far as your educational qualification is concerned. The minimum educational qualification required is to be a graduate in any field. Age limitation:- --> 21-30 for the general. --> 21-33 for the OBC. --> 21-35 for the SC/ST. No. of attempts:- --> 4 for the general. --> 7 for the SC/St. --> Unlimited for the OBC. No, You can not apply for U.P.S.C. civil service examination.
A graduate degree holder can apply for this exam A final year graduate student can apply for this exam. As you are in third year you can not apply for I.A.S. exam now. You can apply in your final year or after completion of your engineering.
