After graduation, you need to qualify civil services examination. The exam, which comprises of prelims and mains examination is conducted by UPSC. If you qualify this level, you must be shortlisted for interview and then for medical test. The prelims exam is usually conducted in the month of May. Graduates between the age of 21 and 30 years can appear for civil services. Online applications can be submitted through the web portal of UPSC.
