My age is 28 years and 4 days. My D.O.B is 1 march 1990. I belong to General category. Am I eligible for IBPS clerk exam 2018? I know that the age limit is 20 years to 28 years, but I am confused that people of 28 years age are eligible to give the exam or not.

IBPS conducts common written exams for PO and Clerk.

Eligibility criteria for clerk:

Candidate must be Graduation pass.

Age should be between 20 to 28 years.

Maximum age to apply for General Category candidates is 28 years.

OBC candidates can apply till the age of 31 years and SC/ST can apply till the age of 33 years.

Since your age is already 28 years and you belong to General category, then you cannot apply for the IBPS clerk exam.

You are not eligible to apply for the IBPS Clerks Exams.

For the IBPS PO exams you are eligible to apply this year.
IBPS PO exams would be held in October 2018

The age criteria for the IBPS exam is 20 to 28 year.

The minimum age to appear for IBPS Clerk exam is 20 years and the maximum age is 28years.

The cutoff date would be 01.09.2018 for couting the age.

A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1990 andnot later than 01.09.1998.

As you have been born before 02.09.1990 so you are not eligible to appear for the exam.
But you can apply for the IBPS PO exam since they have 30years age criteria.
