IBPS exam is conduct for BANK PO Post for 17 private banks .

Only those candidate have completed graduation degree are eligible for BANK PO exam.There are no percentage criteria for IBPS PO exam.

Also all candidate age must be in between 21 to 30 years.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

Yes , You are applicable for IBPS PO exam.Because you have already completed of your graduation degree .B-Tech and BE degree holder candidate are applicable for IBPS PO Exam.

Apart from you are applying for IBPS PO exam, and then you don't worry i am providing the required requirements like educational qualifications and age limit given below and also see below selection procedure.

Institute of Banking Personal Selection,IBPS Issued the Notification 2012 for Common written examination(cwe) for Probationary Officers/Management Trainees.This is the second common written exam for Probationary officers.Degree from any recognized university must to apply for IBPS PO CWE.Candidates must have at least 20 years and the max age limit is 30 years.The other Reservation for Reserved candidate applicable as per government of India.you can have the complete details on Eligibility Criteria,Education Qualifications required and age limit for IBPS PO Exam 2012
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Any degree from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.The Minimum marks required in Graduation is not mentioned.Candidates,who completed graduation can apply for IBPS PO CWE.

candidates must have at least 20 years and the max age is 30 years for general candidates

Bank PO is one of the exams conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personal Selection.

The BANK PO post selection is done via IBPS Exam.

Eligibility Criteria :
  • Candidate must have completed graduation degree.
  • Percentage is not important here but it should be greater.
  • Candidate age must be in between 21 to 30 years.


As you are from Engineering field you can apply for BANK PO.

Selection procedure is done in two stages
  • Written Test
  • Personal Interview

Written test is Descriptive so you should prepare well.
Personal Interview is done after Written Test.Interview is simple and judges ask the reasoning questions.

You should have ability of :
  • Reasoning
  • English Language
  • Computer Knowledge
  • General Awareness
  • Quantitative Aptitude

Yes, you are eligible for IBPS Bank P.O.(Probationary Officer) exam as you have completed Graduation in Engineering.

IBPS - Institute of Banking Personal Selection conducts Bank Clerical and P.O. exam for 19 Public Sector Banks from time to time as per their requirment.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation Degree in any stream of Education from a recognised University within the age of 20 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good command over computer operation.

candidate should be a graduate or equivalent. The same should be in any stream from a recognized university with a minimum requisite of 65% average mark for general category 60% for other classes is a must.

Age Limit : 21-30 years for general category.



Exam Pattern:



Phase I:
  • Objective Test of English Language, General Awareness, Data analysis and interpretation, Reasoning (200 Marks)
  • Descriptive test of English Language (comprehension, small outline, article and letter writing) 50 Marks
Phase II:
  • Group Discussion 20 Marks
  • Group Discussion (Rural) 10 Marks
  • Interview 30 Marks
  • Experience 10 Marks
  • The exam will be conducted in various centers in almost all parts of India.

Anyone who has a graduation degree can apply for the IBPS Bank PO entrance exam. The percentage scored in 10th, 12th and graduation are not considered for IBPS Bank PO. Therefore apply for the exam without any fear.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Services conduct Bank PO exam for 19 Public Sector banks in the country. Public sector banks are the ones that are controlled by the government of India. Here is the list of these banks.

IBPS PO Exam Details:-

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. They conducts the Common Written Examination on behalf of 20 public sector banks. By giving this examination you can get to work in nationalized banks in India for jobs of Probationary Officer.
