Re: Am I eligible for SBI and IBPS exam after scoring 55% in 10th and 58% in 12th
Those who have passed 12th class with 60% marks can apply for SBI clerk. Graduation is mandatory for attending CWE for clerical and P.O positions conducted by IBPS. Degree holders can apply for SBI P.O also. For P.O positions, your age must be less than 30 years. In case of clerical position, the upper age limit is 28 years.

Re: Am I eligible for SBI and IBPS exam after scoring 55% in 10th and 58% in 12th
You will have to complete graduation to appear for the exams. Earlier 12th standard pass candidates were eligible for the Clerk entrance exam but not anymore. Now the criteria is that candidate should have graduation degree.
Therefore I will suggest you to take admission for any graduation course as soon as possible. Only then you should start preparing for the banking exam. After completing graduation you can apply for Clerk entrance exam by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services (IBPS). It conducts exams for 19 Public Sector banks. The IBPS Clerk entrance exam is held twice a year for you to appear. First time in the early part of the year while second time towards the end of the year. IBPS Clerk Eligibility 1. You should be Indian citizen for this exam. 2. Complete any graduation degree. 3. There is no marks criteria. 4. You must have diploma/degree in Computer operating skills. 5. Else Computer Science subject should have been studied in 12th or college. 6. The age limit is 20 to 28 years for the exam. 7. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC. 8. There is 5 years relaxation for SC/ST. 9. Person with Disability gets 10 years relaxation. On the other hand SBI Clerk exam still accepts 12th standard pass candidate. But unfortunately you are not meeting the percentage criteria. Without meeting it, you are not eligible for Clerical exam by State Bank of India. SBI Clerk Eligibility 1. You should be Indian national. 2. Must have finished 12th standard with any stream. 3. Minimum of 60 percent marks in 12th standard. 4. At least a certificate of 6 months Computer training. 5. Age limit is 18 to 28 years. 6. The age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC. 7. 5 years relaxation for SC/ST. As you can see it is not possible for you to appear for either of the entrance exam. You must complete graduation, possibly with Computer subjects like BCA etc. Then you can apply for the banking exams. |
