Re: Am i eligible to give IBPS Clerk exam after scoring 74% in 10th, 45% in 12th and 59.8% in graduation
Definitely you are eligible for the IBPS Clerk Exam but I think you should instead apply for the IBPS Bank PO Exam since the salary would be better and there is more scope of good promotion in the future.
In both the exams conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services, there is no requirement of percentage. All you need is a graduation degree. Since you have it you can appear for both the exams. But as I said earlier, you should appear for the IBPS Bank PO Exam. The next IBPS Bank PO will take place next year in June while for Clerk Exam the admission process is currently underway and you can apply for the exam which will take place in December. For those who don't know, from now on to be eligible for Clerk exam candidate is required to have graduation degree. Earlier 10+2 candidates were also allowed to appear for the exam. IBPS Clerk Eligibility 1. Age limit is 18 to 28 years. 2. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST. 3. A graduation degree in any stream. 4. A diploma/degree in computers. Candidates who had Computers as one of the subjects in High School or College can also appear. IBPS Bank PO Eligibility 1. Age limit for Bank PO is 20 to 30 years with, 2. 3 years relaxation for OBC. 3. and 5 years relaxation for SC/ST. 4. Minimum qualification requirement is graduation degree. The result of both these exams is accepted by 19 PSU Banks. Here is the list: Allahabad Bank Andhra Bank Bank of Baroda Bank of Maharashtra Bank of India Central Bank of India Canara Bank Dena Bank Corporation Bank Indian Overseas Bank Indian Bank Punjab National Bank Oriental Bank of Commerce Syndicate Bank Punjab & Sind Bank United Bank of India Union Bank of India Vijaya Bank UCO Bank |

Re: Am i eligible to give IBPS Clerk exam after scoring 74% in 10th, 45% in 12th and 59.8% in graduation
The minimum educational qualification to appear for the IBPS clerk exam is :
Graduation with 60% marks . Since your marks in graduation are 59.8% you are not elligible for the IBPS Clerk exam. Also you must calcuate your percentage upto two decimal places . |
