Am I eligible for IES exam while working with MES as Jr Engineer?


Sir, my date of birth is 15-12-1972, I belonged to Jammu-Kashmir (Disstt. Kathua) and at present working with MES as Jr Engineer (Permanent job). Please, let me know if I am eligible to appear in IES-2012.

sir i am already service in DVC as a JE .but i dont kwon which better mes je or dvc je sir plz tell me

I'm persuing graduate engineering from 'AMIE' THEN , am i eligible to appear in IES EXAM?

If you have fulfill below given criteria then you are eligible for IES exam.

IES Stands for Indian Engineering Service Examination. This examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

If you have completed B-Tech/BE degree from recognized university then you are eligible for IES exam .

OR

If you have completed M.Sc degree in Physics, Radio Physics then you are eligible for IES exam.

Subject of Written exam :-

Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

The applicant age should be in between 21 yrs to 30 years.

No, you are not eligible for IES examination conducted by UPSC.

For IES examination, the maximum age limit is 30 years. As you have born on 1972, you have exceeded the limit.
