Sir,I'm studying b.tech 4th year and i want to appear for ies examination. So I want to know the basic salary that an IES engineer earns at the starting of his career.. Some of them has posted that it wil be around 15000 and some has posted the amount would be around 40000.... So plz give me the inf regarding that...

BASICALLY I AM A middle class family member & i am the only son who have lot of hopes on me.SO, PLEASE SUGGEST THE SALARY FOR IES ENGINEER?

Pay of IES officer: 15600 (Basic)+5400(Grade)+DA+HRA+others. Gross would be around 36,000Rs per month.

The Basic salary is Rs 15,600. but there are various other fixed allowances such as DA (80% of basic) HRA 10-30 %, Transport allowance 10-20% . etc. So the total salary come to be approx 40,000
