Am I eligible to join Indian Navy/Air Force/Army being a Nursing graduate?


Hi,
I have finished my B.Sc(Nursing). Am I eligible for joining Indian Navy, Airforce or Army? I have a deep interest to join any of these 3. Please help me.

To join in Indian Navy/ Air Force/ Army after completion of your Graduation in B.Sc. (Nursing) course, you should have to appear in Combined Defense Services (CDS) examination. The CDS examination is conducted by UPSC twice a year and you need to fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria to appear in CDS examination :-

1. You must be an Indian National.

2. Academic Qualification :-
=> Indian Navy :- You should have passed Graduation degree in Engineering from a Government recognised university.
=> Indian Air Force :- You should have passed Graduation degree from a Government recognised university with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.
=> Indian Army :- You should have passed Graduation degree or equivalent in any discipline from a Government recognised university.

3. Age Limit :-
=> Indian Navy :- 19-22 years
=> Indian Air Force :- 19-24 years
=> Indian Army :-19-24 years

4. You should be an Unmarried Male candidate to join in Indian Army and Indian Navy.

5. You must be Physically as well as Mentally healthy.

As per the above mentioned eligibility criteria, you are eligible to join in Indian Army after completion of your graduation in B.Sc. (Nursing) course. If you have pursued Mathematics and Physics subject at 10+2 level, you are eligible to join in Indian Air Force graduation in B.Sc. (Nursing) course.

Yes, you can join defence service after B.Sc nursing:-

CDS stands for Combined Defence Service

This exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year

For this you have to follow some criteria:-

You should be a citizen of India

You should have complete your graduation from a recognised university

Your age should be in between 19 to 25 years

You should be mentally physically strong.

You have finished B.Sc in Nursing, So you are eligible for Indian Army post through CDS exam.

CDS stands for Combined Defence Service exam.

Eligibility criteria:-

Indian Military academy: You should have completed graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

Officers Training Academy: You should have completed graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

Age Criteria:-

Indian Military Academy: - 19-24 Years
Officer's Training Academy: - 19-25 Years

I am a bsc nursing final year student..and i studied mathds in my 10th class...bt ian not studied maths in plu two.can i join indian airforce as a nurse
