Actually I have finished my B.Sc nursing in puducherry in 2010 with 70 percentage mark, and worked in ICU for 1 year ..now I am doing post graduate in nursing,2nd year student,there by I am intersted to work in indian navy. what are the procedures to be carry out in navy recruitment for nurses.

After graduation, There are three types of entries in Indian Navy. You can choose any one to apply for Indian Navy.
1) Graduate Special Entry
2) NCC Special Entry
3) Through CDSE Entrance

Eligibility

Graduate Special Entry
- Only male candidates are eligible.
- You must have passed B.Sc (Physics/Maths) or B.E./B.Tech in any discipline with at least 60% from a recognized university.
- Your age should be between 19 to 22 years.

NCC Special Entry
- Only male candidates are eligible.
- You must have passed B.Sc (Physics/Maths) or B.E./B.Tech along with naval wing senior division NCC 'C' certificate.
- Your age should be between 19 to 24 years.

Through CDSE Exam
- Both Male & Female are eligible.
- You must have passed bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Your age should be between 19 to 24 years.

CDSE Exam Pattern
- Total Questions : 340
- Total Marks : 300
- Exam Duration : 6 Hours
- Marks per Correct Answer : 0.8
- Mark Deducted per Incorrect Answer : 0.33

CDSE Exam Syllabus
- English : 100 Marks
- General Knowledge : 100 Marks
- Elementary Maths : 100 Marks
