Am I eligible for MCA course if I had completed my B.Com 6 years back?
i have completed my B.com in 2005, is i eligible for MCA course as i did it 6 years back

Yes of course your eligible for the MCA course but you must have covered any of the subjects mentioned below.For most of the post graduation courses age is not a limit.Even for the NIMCET MCA entrance test conducted by the NIT's age in not a criteria.
Eligibility for NIMCET MCA test Candidates securing 65% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC/ST) in each of the examinations of 12th level with Mathematics and Bachelor’s Degree of full time 3 year duration from a recognized University with any one of the following as one of the subjects Mathematics Business Mathematics Discrete Mathematics Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science Business Statistics Computational Mathematics Elementary Mathematics Elementary Statistics So age is not a criteria for the examination.if you have covered any of the above subjects then you can go through the examination.For more information regarding the NIMCET please visit-Click here There are many other Universities which conducts MCA entrance exams separately.Some of the other colleges giving separate admission are:- TANCET, Delhi UNiversity, IIT JAM, VIT, ICET, IMCAT,.etc |

* General Eligibility Criteria for Indian students for MCA Course -> Aspirants who have done their BCA, BBA or B.Tech can apply for the MCA course. Students who have finished their graduation in science can also apply. These students must have studied Mathematics as a subject in class 12th. There is no age limit regarding the admission to this course. * Academic Eligibility Criteria for MCA Course -> Students who would like to join the MCA course must have a pass in graduation with more than 60 percent marks. It doesnot matter the years back you take b.com degree
The admission to MCA needs only the degree from any recognised university and most of the PG courses has no age limit So you can surely apply for MCA now Best of luck |

You want to do MCA course after 6 years of your graduation, then you can go for it.. For doing MCA course you have to appear in entrance exams like- JECA, NIMCET.. Eligibility criteria for MCA course:- *The candidate must have maths or stats in 12th. or, *The candidate must have complete the bachelor degree in computer application. *There is no age limit to appear in those entrance exam.. Yes, you can apply for MCA after completing your B.Com under 6 years course according to the eligibilities required for MCA. The eligibility criteria for MCA is given below : 1. You must have completed any undergraduate course like BCA, BBA, B.Tech etc. 2. There is no age limitation for MCA. 3. You must have pursued mathematics as a subject in 10+2. 4.
