NDA Stands for National Defence Academy examination and NDA is conducted twice in a year by Union Public Service Commission .

If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department you are applicable for NDA exam.Commerce and arts student are applicable for only Indian Army branch.Final year student are applicable for NDA exam.

NDA exam not require any kind of percentage marks in 12th standard.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.You must have citizenship of India.

Your age now over 19 years old so you are not applicable for NDA exam .So better option for you to go for higher study like graduation degree.After completion of graduation degree you have chances to join in CDS , AFCAT ,UES Exam.

The selection procedure for NDA exam is 1) Written Test. 2) Personal Interview.

No,you are not eligible as

the eligibility for NDA is

age must be within 16 half to 19 half years!!

and should pass 12 th class exam

and minimum acceptable hieght for NDA is 157.5 cm


and this exam conduct twice a year whose notification come in employment newspaper!!

• Only Unmarried Male can Apply for NDA.

Eligibility For NDA

The National Defense Academy (NDA) Exam is conducted in the months of April and August by the UPSC for recruitment to the following wings :-

Eligibility Criterion :-

>> Candidates must either be appearing for 12th or must have already completed 12th from a recognized board..

Since, you have exceeded the age limit hence I am really very sorry but you are not eligible for appearing for the NDA Exam..

However..you can appear for the CDS Exam which is quite similar to NDA..only you have to complete your graduation to be eligible for appearing for the exam..

You need to be within the following age limits in order to appear for the exam :-

>> Indian Navy :- 19-22 years
>> Indian Air Force :- 19-23 years
>> Indian Military Academy :- 19-24 years
>> Officer's Training Academy :- 19-25 years

NDA Entrance Exam is conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission for the entry of candidates in Indian Defense.

The Basic Requirements for NDA Entrance Exam are :

* You must have passed 12th with PCM from any recognized board.

* Your age must lie in between 16.5-19 years.

* You must be an Indian National.

* You must be an unmarried male.

* Physical Standards :





Relating the above mentioned with your age , its quite clear that you are not eligible for the NDA Entrance Exam.
