My age is 21. 12th pass (Atrs). I want to join Indian army. I am not eligible for NDA exam because of age limit, but I want to join indian army. Is there any way?

NDA examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year .This exam is conduct for recruitment in - Army wings, Navy wings, Air force Wings.

The minimum required qualification for NDA exam is 12th standard .If your 12th subject is mathematics and Physics then you are applicable for all above wings.NDA exam not require any percentage marks of the candidate.

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for Sc/ST candidate . Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India.

Your age now 21 years old so you are not applicable for NDA exam because the maximum age limit for this exam is 19 years old.

You are really interested in Indian Army post then first complete your graduation degree .After graduation degree you eligible to attend in CDS exam.

CDS stands for Combined Defence Services Exam .This Examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

Only graduate candidate can apply here .Your age should be in between 18 to 25 years old.Final year of degree courses candidate can apply here.

NOTE - At this time you are applicable for Indian Army in GD post .Which required only 10th standard .Maximum age limit for this exam is 26 years old.Selection process- Physical test ,written test and Medical (Merit list)

NDA exam is conducted in Three Wings:

1. Indian Army
2. Indian Navy
3. Indian Air Force

NDA stands for National Defense Academy

Sorry , you are not eligible for NDA exam because maximum age limit for this exam is 19 years old.....

If you have completed 12th science from recognized Board the you are eligible for NDA in INDIAN NAVY AND AIR FORCE wings....

There is no percentage bar required for NDA examination....

Age of candidate should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years....

Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination....

If You are interested in Indian Army post then you have complete your graduation degree...

After complete graduation degree you can apply for CDS exam....

Age Limit For CDS exam :-

1. Indian Military Academy : 19-24 Years
2. Air Force Academy : 19-23 Years
3. Naval Academy : 19-22 Years
4. Officers’ Training Academy :19-25 Years.

The acronym for NDA is National Defence Academy.

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for NDA examination.

But, if, you really want to join Indian Army, then you will have to appear for CDS(Combined Defence Services) examinaton, which is conducted twice every year by UPSC.

CDS examination is conducted for these following wings:-

* Indian Naval Academy(INA).

* Indian Air Force Academy(IAA).

* Indian Military./Army Academy(IMA).

* Officer's Training Academy(OTA).

The eligibility criteria required for the CDS examination are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in any discipline from any recognized college or university.

* Final year contendors are also eligible for this examination.

* Age limit:- 19-24 yrs(IMA).

* Sex:- Both male and female.

* Marital status:- Not married or single.

* Nationality:- Indian.

* Physical eligibility:- Must be fit.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

If you have the above mentioned eligibility criteria, you are eligible to apply for NDA.

Now,you can not apply for NDA exam.

Age criteria for NDA :

>>Age is between 16.1/2 to 19 years.

you can take admission for Graduation or bachelor degree.After graduation ,you can apply for CDS exam (for joining in India Army).

Eligibility criteria for CDS :

>>Candidate must have passed graduation or bachelor degree with any subject from any recognized university.

>>Candidate must be a citizen of India.

>>Age is between 19 to 24 years.

>>Candidate must be physically and mentally fit.
