My name ayan my date of birth is 28-10-1993 & my qualification is 12th passed in commerce with maths. My b.com 1sem was ended can i apply in navy any section

After passing 12th in Commerce stream, you are not eligible to apply for Indian Navy through NDA as it requires 12th candidate from Science stream.

National Defence Academy(NDA) entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate aspiring for Indian Navy of NDA, must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subject of studies from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

So without having science stream in 12th it is not possible for you to apply for Indian Navy of NDA but you are eligible to apply for Indian Army of NDA.

First of all, you should know that there are two exams at different qualifications to apply for Indian navy.

NDA
CDS.

You are not eligible for NDA because you have crossed the age limit which is 19 years maximum

Now, you can apply for CDS - Combined defene services, but only after graduation.

CDS is conducted by UPSC for Indian Army, Navy and air force.

Eligibilty criteria for CDS -

Qualification

Graduation from a recognised university.

Age --

For IMA - 19 years - 24 years
For Naval academy- 19years - 22years
For Officer's Training Academy - 19-25 years
For Air force academy - 19 years - 23 years.

So, now you can start preparing for CDS and apply after completeing graduation.

If you are completed your 12th commerce with mathematics subject then you are eligible for Indian Navy

But, first you can crack the NDA Examination,

NDA stands for National Defence Academy, This examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly twice i.e. NDA - I & NDA - II

NDA have three Wings

Indian Air Force

Indian Navy

Indian Army

For this examination some eligibility criterias are there i.e.

Candidates must have a 12th standard with PCM (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) subjects from any recognized institution

There is no percentage required for this examination

Candidates age should between 16.5 years to 19 years

Candidates should be a citizen of India

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination

if you are satisfy above all eligibilities then you are eligible for this examination

As you have mention about your study yet you are not eligible for for joining Navy......

First of all you have to complete your Graduation Course in any field , You can complete your B.Com Course.......

then You have to apply for CDS Examination.......

Age Criteria for Different post:

• For Indian Military Academy : 19 to 24 Years
  
• For Air Force Academy : 19 to 23 Years
  
• For Naval Academy : 19 to 22 Years
  
• For Officers’ Training Academy :19 to 25 Years

No you will not be eligible to appear in this exam due to the following Reasons:-

>>In this year your age is 19 year thus you will not be eligible to appear in NDA 2013 Exam.

>>You have not studied Physics in 10+2 stream.

>>You do not have science stream in 10+2.

In this exam only science stream candidates can apply and whose age is between 16.5 years to 19 years.

The candidates who do not have Mathematics and Physics in 10+2 stream can appear for Indian Army Wing.

after as 12th passed with commerce stream student, you are not eligible to apply for Merchant Navy..
to join Merchant Navy after 12th one should pass his/her 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subject.


Eligibility criteria for Merchant Navy course

* Unmarried male and female candidate are eligible .
* Candidates passing 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics are eligible for Merchant Navy course.
* Age requirement is not more than 20 years.
* SC/ST Students 25 years is maximum age , these categories are given relaxation of five years.

* Navigating Officers Post
* Physical Eligibility For joining Merchant navy as Deck Cadet are as follows: -

A candidate should be physically and mentally fit.

* Eye Sight = 6/6,
* Height = 167 cms,
* Weight = 50 Kg
* Chest = 77 cm (Normal) / 82 cm (Expanding) .
