Am I eligible to write NET exam in English after completing M.A. Linguistics?


Respected Sir, I have completed M.A. Linguistics course and now I want to write NET exam. Can you tell me am I eligible to write NET exam in English after completing M.A. Linguistics? Please answer as soon as possible.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test.The examination held in June & December every year.

You have completed MA linguistics then you are eligible for NET examination in english.

Eligibility Criteria:- You must have a post graduation degree having scored with minimum 55% marks.

NET stands for the National Eligibility Test. There are following eligibility.
You can also visit the official website of UGC http://www.ugcnet.in.
^ You should have a master degree with 55% before applying for the NET exam.
^ Your upper age limit should not exceed 28 years.There is also a relaxation for the other category students.
^ There are total 3 papers of NET exam.

Paper-I Paper I consist 60 questions on the basis of aptitude questions.
Paper-II consist 50 questions related to your specialization.
Paper -III consist of 75 questions will carry 150 marks.

You have completed M.A in Linguistics so you are eligible for UGC NET exam in English.

But your masters degree marks must be above 55%.

Your age should be below 28 years for JRF post.

I completed my M. A in Linguistics and qualified NET in English. Can I apply to IITs for a PhD in Linguistics with NET English?

NET stands for National Eligibility Test. You have completed M.A. Linguistics so you are eligible for UGC NET exam in English.

You should have master degree with 55% aggregate before applying for the NET exam.

Your age should be below 28 years. There is also age relaxation for the other category students.
