Re: Am I required to appear for CPT after passing B.Com?
Common Proficiency Test is the first stage of Chartered Accountancy Course.
Commerce graduates are not supposed to take CPT if their score in B.Com. is 50% or more marks. If your score in B.Com. is more than 50% then you can directly register for IPCC. First you will have to register for the course. Once you are registered for the course then you can apply for IPCC group exams. There are two groups in IPCC. You can appear both group exams in the same session or you can appear the two exams in different sessions. After passing Group-I exam or both Group exams you will have to undergo 3 year compulsory Articled Training and after completion of training you can apply for CA Final course examination. http://www.icai.org/ |
