Yes, you can apply for general category being an BC candidate.
As per the rules, if you don't have a certificate as BC candidate then you can apply for general category. If you have certificate and wanted to apply through general category you can even apply to it. In general the process of giving admissions will based on the reservation so, if you have a BC certificate then it will be better to apply for BC category. |
