Dear Sir,
I am a Biology student in 12th std,is there a chance for me to take BCA as a course in college,or otherwise,choosing microbiology as a course in college a good option? If so,what is scope of microbiology.

BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Application and it is three year vocational course.

The eligibility to appear for entrance examination to get admission in the most of institute is candidate must have passed 10+2 with PCM as main paper.

So, you are not eligible for the admission in course. So, if you have interest in pursuing in Microbiology you can go for it as there is better scope for it future.

BCA and Micro biology both are good career options and you can choose any one in which you have interest in.I will provide complete details of both careers then you can choose in which you have interest up on.

BCA is the Bachelors of Computer Application which is related to the IT field and in BCA you can choose different subjects as the specialization,If you wish to settle in the IT field you can choose BCA as your career option,and can settle as a Data base administrator,Programmer,Computer support service,analyst,etc.
After the completion of your BCA course you can take up Master in Computers or MBA,MCA,etc.

After completion of BCA you can settle in any one of the below career options such as

• System analyst
• System administrator
• software developer
• Computer support service specialist
• project manager
• Information Systems manager,etc

Microbiology is also one of the best career option which mainly deals with the study of micro organisms and it is one of the division of Biology.Micro organisms are mainly used for the fertilization,agriculture,subsurface pollution in soils.etc.
This degree can be done in Bachelors level and also masters level.You can pursue Micro biology in different streams such as

To join Bachelor of Computer Application after passing class XII, one must have passed 12th with physics, chemistry and mathematics as main subjects with minimum 50% marks and 45% for reserved categories from recognised board.
As a Biology student you are not eligible to join BCA.

You can join BSc microbiology after passing 12th and then MSc microbiology and after completion you will have great job opportunities.

You are not eligible for BCA course as you have not maths in 12th class. So, You should choose B.Sc (Microbiology). There are also great career opportunities in the field of microbiology.
