Can a student study B.Tech(Biotechnology) without studying Biology in 12th? Eligibility to get admission?

Hello Sir,
What is the eligibility for admission to B.Tech in Biotechnology course? Can a student who has not taken Biology at 12th level will also apply for it? Please reply as soon as possible.

Yes, you are eligible for B.Tech in Biotechnology.

If you have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics with above 50% marks then you are eligible for B.Tech(Biotechnology) course. 5% marks relaxation is provided for SC/ST category candidates.

Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years.

Yes, you are very much eligible to study B.Tech in Bio-Technology even if you haven't studied biology in your 12th level. you will have to appear for JEE(main) examination and after scoring well in the examination you will be allotted seats in various colleges to get admission in.
