Is a BCA final year student eligible for JECA entrance exam?

Eligibility for JECA is right here:
you must have cleared their Bachelor’s degree examination;OR if you are appearing in their final year examination (bachelor’s degree) then also you can go for JECA;
if you had statistics or mathematics in your bachelor’s degree then you are free to apply;
one good news is that there is no age limit for a candidate appearing for JECA.

Eligibility criteria for JECA Entrance Exam are as follows: -

1. Pass graduation in any subject or equivalent from a recognized institute / university.

2. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates.

3. Nationality - Indian

NOTE: - Final year appearing candidates can also apply.

Eligibility for JECA exam

JECA is a west Bengal joint entrance exam for the admission of
MCA courses. This exam is conducted every year by the
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.
The eligibility criteria required for the JECA exam is given below:

Education Qualification
Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree with
Maths/Statistics as a subject. Final year candidate
are also eligible to apply for the JECA course.

AGE LIMIT
There is no age limit for the JECA course.

yes BCA final year students are eligible for JECA examination. this is the MCA entrance examination for West Bengal state. this examination is conducted by west bengal joint entrance examination board.


the eligibility criterion to appear in JECA examination is candidate should have minimum of graduation degree in computer application and final year student also may appear in the examination.

part I-aptitude test 100 marks 1 hour
Part II-Mathematics 100 marks 1 1/2 hour

i have doing bsc IT from PTU,,, i hv basic math,in my 5th sem, am i elligible,,after completion my graduetion,

I got 591 rank final year bca student which college i can expect and also tell whether am i eligible for counselling or not because my final year results are yet to be published

I got 48% marks from university of burdwan with B.sc. Math(Honours).Am I eligible for appear in JECA?If eligible which institutes will reject me due to my marks?
