No doubt that all the companies you have mentioned are really prominent names in the IT sector..

TCS is the number 1 IT company in India..but overall..Accenture is the best..

Accenture has practically been recession proof..it had almost negligible lay-offs and the hikes were same as before..

It has recorded a total turnover of 27.9 billion $ from August,2011 to August,2012..

Recently, it has been named as the top company for outsourcing and it also has centers in more than 120 countries..

In order to appear for Accenture you need to satisfy the following criterion :-

These rankings are based on their business outcomes and their market shares. But as an employee at entry level the best among them is infosys. Training provided by infosys is world class after which you can easily get job in any IT company if you do not want to continue in infosys. Obviously infosys's training is tough and its not easy to stand in it but only because its the best and of high level.

Apart from training if we will talk about working environment TCS,WIPRO,ACCENTURE and HCL all are same and gives you a great working environment. Job security in any IT company is very low as IT sector is dealing with a low time at present but still you can have a bit of security with TCS, ACCENTURE and HCL as they are not completely IT sector and their business is going quite well.

IT is the Information Technology and has the best future and career scope as of now. This is indeed a revolution that was brought about of which we are still reaping the fruits. If you are seeking a job in the IT Industry, you will never find any darkness there.

Talking of the companies whose names you have taken, at first rank comes the TCS.
TCS - TATA Consultancy Services is the top IT Company in Asia and has the largest dimensions in terms of services, wealth, countries spread in, number of employees and average age of the employees.
This is a HUGE company and is also the largest recruiter of freshers as well as the experienced candidates in our country.

HCL - Hindustan Computers Limited is another good one, very old and one of the first in its kind. I will not say its a bad company, but certainly cannot be counted amongst the top ones. But its also one of the most successful and trustworthy companies in the world and India.

Talking of Accenture, I would say its a new born company established in 1989 only. Its taken its time but has done fairly well to establish itself in this market. Its one of the best companies to work in but the name would take ages to spread throughout the world. Since its launched globally its been able to spread its roots in various patches on the globe. But in terms of the services it provides and domains it works in, its really not much as compared to TCS, Infosys and Wipro.

Plus its not an Indian Company. Personally speaking I am an Indian and would work for an Indian. This is the spirit that the rest of the world has except us. If we have to make our mark, it cannot be possible working for others.

Lastly Wipro. This is again among the top 3 IT giants in India and fares well in the world too ranking at 7th All over. Its owned by Azim Premji and offers numerous services and domains to its customers. You would be glad to know that the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi was and is served by Wipro with its IT and security services throughout the airport in and out. This is just one of the milestones. Some of the top domains in which Wipro works are :

Core Java, Java-J2EE, Oracle, VLSI, SAP, Lighting, Marketing and about 20 others..

Infosys is another giant with the best Company awards many a times. Its a strong competition to the TCS and mighty Wipro Technologies.
