You do have quite a few options where you can pursue a course. Mainframes is a good option. But before selecting you must decide on the stream which will help in your career. You do have other options like SAP and various other programming courses. You must visit the institutes offering these courses and select the one that suits you the most.

I m b.tech-IT 2011 fresher. pl suggest me a good Software course. I am aware of C and C only.i want to do other courses can anyone help telling me.pl

there are many software course are present like java,.net,php,orracle.
mainframe is also a good option.otherwise my suggestion u go for java.
java is a very good and easy language.and its easy to understand and furute refrence its also very good option to learn java language.so work hard for learn java language.

yes this course is good, but not so sufficient, you should be updated always. this is the time of software designing, web designing and many other fields. i want to suggest you that you prefer for java or php.net language. These language are very popular in now a days.
java is a very good language. in this language you can get good jobs.

ofcourse cisco certifications will help u alot in all ways.but hardwork is mandatory....many Cisco certified professionals earning good packages....I suggest you to go with CCNA and then CCIE which is next level in CISCO...........but very costly certifications also
