Its never depend on the board, its totally depend on your capabilities ,study, execution of ownself.

If you study properly from any board you can crack any entrance examination.

According to me there are some Important Tips:

1:maintain a time table to allow yourself to devote minimum6-8hrs per day for this exam.

2:Then try to collect the base or main material of any subject.

3:.Study the Syllabus

4:Try to solve the Previous questions papers

5:Try to Solve more and more problems,

6:Try to discover more and more new own tricks by which you can easily solve any problem in a less time .

7:You can go for self tests.

IIT-JEE is a very tough exam and is considered best engineering entrance exam in india. So if you want to crack IIT-JEE ,then you will have to follow 3D principle that is :
  • Dedication
  • Discipline
  • Determination

As far as the question of board is concerned , there is no any bound or any speciality in any particular board that will help you in crack IIT-JEE . So you can study with any board .I will suggest you to study either with cbse board or ICSE board as you will have more chances of getting good percentage which will help you in meeting the eligibility criteria of IIT-JEE.

For cracking IIT-JEE follow the follwing procedure :
  • Try to understand the concepts rather than memorizing it.
  • Solve Erodov physics for better result.
  • Join coaching for better results as coaching provides you the tricks to handle questions and also gives you competitive environment which really helps.
  • Read NCERT books first as it is the book which is prescribed by most of the experts.
  • Give proper time on time management
  • Solve previous year question papers and also new sample papers.
  • Take part in online preparation tests conducted by different websites.
  • Rest of all depends upon your hard work and sincerety.

You can give iitjee with any board cbse , icse or any other state board.
But you must have 60% in 12th with that board in pcm .

I advice you something that leave no topic , atleast read every topic once, it will help you seriously
as sometime there is a easy question from topic you have'nt studied and difficult from that which you have studied.
Then if you have studied it once you will be able to try it

Dear IIT-JEE aspirant,

If you are currently studying from CBSE Board. Then, there is no need for you to change Board. Because IIT-JEE syllabus is entirely based on CBSE/ICSE Syllabus of Class 11 and 12. So, study well for your board exam. In this way you will also prepare for your IIT-JEE exam.

You must go through NCERT Textbooks of Class 11 and 12 thoroughly. Because, these books will play a vital role in building up your concepts.

Preparation for IIT JEE never depend on the board rather it depends on individual intelligence & capabilities. However, I can tell you which book to prefer for preparation. Clear your basics form CERT books for all subjects. Irodov for Physics, M L Khanna and Arihant for Maths, Morrison and Boyd and J D Lee for Chemistry are really very helpful. Solve a lot of sample test papers, past years' question papers because that would help you strengthen your problem solving skills.

hiii....!!!!

-->if you are currently studying in CBSE board then no need to change it.

-->because IIT and JEE's syllabus is totally based upon the CBSE/ICSE board.

-->so,go through NCERT books carefully, you will get the success definitely.

-->fee structure for IIT-JEE colleges is given as follows:-

*during counselling IIT 's fee structure is rs 1500-2500.

*during every semester fee structure is rs.25000-35000 excluding hostel and mess charges.

*if you want to stay in hostel then you have to pay different charges for hostel etc.

*for more information you can visit the official website:

Hello Friend
As far as your Question is Concerned, I think Mr.Ravik has answered it very Keenly.
Wondering what i have to say?
Well, I just have some inputs to his Information that's it!
  • Firstly, Ravik, I should thank you for the 3D Principle, I liked it and shall try to incorporate it
  • Now, hitting the Point:
    • Instead of Opting I.E.Erodov for Physics, I would suggest to first clear and Strengthen your basics by going through "Concepts of Physics" by H.C.Verma. Its an Awesome book for Beginners and lot of twisted and Conceptual Questions to Tickle your Brain!
    • Practice as many questions as Possible, and let me tell you, JEE has not got the Nasty Habit of Repeating its Questions from the Previous Years, It somehow churns out very nice and analytical questions every year yet revolving around the Same Old Concepts!
So that's It!!!

Hope these few Inputs Help you

Regards,

Nik!

If you really want to clear your jee through good numbers then you must prefer ICSE Board because it has hiigher standard of studies and helps to exactly clear IIT.
