john, first i want to say in market no specific book available. i have already given sail technician exam, as experience i say first read your technical book whose trade have done in I.T.I. after that you prepare a notes on that really support to you.
exam pattern of sail for technician trainee;
100 question comes in sail exam.
>> 50 question are in technical knowledge.
>>and other 50 question comes from reasoning, numerical , general knowledge, English verbal. that question are very simpal pattern.
so if you practice well that clear any technical exam.
for numerical question you want to prefer; the achievement of numerical
LUCENT GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, here also i am providing some question and answer like pattern.

i am providing a syllabus as i knowledge after participating sail trainee exam.
total no. of question is 100
>> 50 question from technical subject which you have select.

before exam when your admit card delivered to you by sail a sample paper also with admit card. so prepared for sail now according to your technical book and above subject. here i am also providing a some book name.
