Definitely, C.A. course is possible after graduation.
The first ecam i.e. CA-CPT is not related to core accountancy.
This mainly checks the aptitude of candidate.
The CPT qualified candidates apply for IPCC. After qualifying IPCC an you are
required to do an internship under some certified C.A. then you can apply for
Final course of C.A.

If you are a graduate
- and have completed Graduation in Commerce stream with 50% or more marks
or
- and have completed Graduation in Non-Commerce stream(Without Mathematics)
with 55% or more marks in the same
or
- and have completed Graduation in Non-Commerce stream(With Mathematics)
with 60% or more marks in the same

then you are exempted from CPT and you can directly apply for IPCC.

Hello Bonny,
Being a graduate, you can definitely pursue chartered accountancy course.
To do so, you will have to ,fist of all, qualify the common proficiency test conducted by the institute of chartered accountants of India.
After qualifying the test, you will have to enroll yourself for the Professional Competency Course (PCC), which will be followed by the Final course.
The chartered accountancy course, apart from the programs mentioned above, also comprise of compulsory 3 1/2 years of articled training,100 Hours of Information Technology training and General Management and Communication Skills course.

The marks distribution for IPCC can be found at the attachment I've provided.

There is nothing as minimum marks in IPCC. It all depends on the relative cutoff. However, a 50% restriction may be exercised.

Eligibility for Chartered Accountancy Exams:-
Those who have passed the intermediate examination from commerce stream can register for the test. It. Those who are appearing for the 10+2 exam are also eligible to apply

there is no boundary for the exam of CA.but you must passed 10+2.

Yes afcourse CA is possible after graduation. Infact after graduation you need not give entrance exam of CA i.e. CPT (common proficiency test) which is for students who are appearing for CA after 12th.You can directly register yourself in the seceond stage of CA i.e. IPCC exam which comprises of two groups namely GROUP 1 and 2.You can clear both groups together and seprately,its upto you and you capability.Last stage after IPCC and articleship is Final exam.
duration of this course usually is 2.5 years but whole duration depends upon you how you give exams.

CA itself has Three levels
CPT
IPCC
Final
you will have to register to appear CPT exam its nothing but entrance test of CA course it will conducted twice in a year i.e. June and December
The duration of CA course is 4 and half years.
Now a days it has announced NO CPT EXAM THOSE WHO HAVE COMPLETED GRADUATION

Yes, it is possible to do CA after graduation.

As per the new rules of ICAI you can join in IPCC with the following qualification ;
If you belongs to commers background graduation must have at least 55%.
And in case of Other graduations are must have at least60%.
If you have any above qualification you can join in IPCC course.

You must qualifing this IPCC both groups otherwise not eligible for forthere coursrs.
After this course you are eligible for CA final course
And you must qualifing this exam then only you will be a CA.

And after the degree this course duration is 4 yrs of time.

Every course that you study is diffcult, if you are not able to unmderstand the topics and chapters that are there in the course and same goes with the CA course also


If you are able to understand the topics and subjects of accounts and commerce than you should try for the CA course

The first stage is CPT or Common Profiency Test

Candidates who have appeared in class 12th exam or have passed class 12th exam can apply for the CPT course

CPT exams will have questions from the below sections:
Fundamentals of accounting
Mercantile LAWS
General economics
Quantitative Aptitude

All the questions are asked in objective mode only
Candidates scoring minimum 50% marks are declared as pass

Yes surely you can apply for CA course after Graduation.

If you are commerce Graduate with 50% marks then you don't have to appear for CPT and can directly apply for IPCC.

Also Non Commerce Graduate with 60% marks are also eligible to apply for IPCC and will be exempted from CPT.

So if you satisfy above criteria then apply for it without worrying .
