Yes you can go with indian army with arts and commerce group.


You can go for indian army with NDA exam. NDA exam conducted by the upsc twice in a year.


Eligibility criteria:

the candidate should be completed 12th standard with any stream from a recognized state board of india.

The age limit should be 16.5 to 19 years. No relaxation for any other category.

Only unmarried male candidate are available this exam.GIRLS are not eligible for this exam.

The candidate should be citizen of india.

Yes off course ,Both the commerce as well as Arts stream candidates are eligible to apply for Indian Army . You having both the option to enter into Indian Army . You may apply for NDA Examination / CDS Examination .

NDA stands for National Defence academy this Examination is conducted by the UPSC for twice in year .

To apply for NDA Examination you should complete 12th standard in any discipline from recognized university . There is No minimum percentage of marks need in this Examination . If your qualified in 12th board Examination then any stream candidates may eligible to apply for this Examination . The candidate who waiting for an result of the board Examination may also eligible to apply for this Examination . But the candidate should qualified in board Examination at the time of participate in NDA Examination .

Your age should be 16 1/2 years to 19 years and There is no relaxation is applicable for any stream candidates . If your age is above 19 years then your not eligible to apply for this Examination . Only Male candidate may eligible to apply for this Examination . Female or Male candidate may not eligible to apply for this Examination .

Important Notification for NDA Examination :-

-Release of Notification :- 05/05/2012
-Last date of receipt of Application :- 30/06/2012
-Date of Examination :- 15/08/2012

CDS stands for Combined Defence Service and this Examination is organized by upsc for every twice in a year .

To apply for CDS Examination you should complete bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized university . Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examination . There is minimum percentage of marks require for this Examination . Only male candidates are eligible to apply for this Examination . Female and Married male candidate are not eligible to apply for this Examination . You have interested in Army . Any stream are eligible to apply for Army academy ( ie :- Science / Arts / Commerce / Vocational ) .

Your age should be 19 year to 24 years . You should be Physically as well as mentally fit to apply for CDS Examination . You should not affected by any diseases . Then only your eligible to apply for this Examination .

-Release of Notification :- 29/10/2012
-Last date of receipt of Application :- 02/07/2012
-Date of Examination :- 16/ 09/2012

You may collect the Important Notification for NDA and CDS Examination in Employment news papers and official website of UPSC . You may collect the Examination in Post office in any branch with the cost of Rs. 50/- and You may also download the Examination form from official website .

You can go for a post of indian army caption.But some eligibulties are requried for the same candidate should passed there 12th exam.After that you have been selected as a genral candidate in army after passing time you find you in higher post according to your qualifiction and hard work.And chase you leble post in army
